Admission Process
At Impulse Pre-University Science College, we follow a transparent, merit-based admission process in adherence to the rules of the Department of Pre-University Education (PUC Board), Government of Karnataka.
1. Eligibility for Admission
Students should have passed SSLC/10th Standard or an equivalent examination (recognized by the Department of Pre-University Education, CBSE, ICSE, or any other recognized board).
2. Collecting the Application Form from the College
• Eligible students can collect the application form and brochure by visiting the college campus in person.
• Fill in the form carefully with accurate personal, academic, and contact details.
3. Submitting the Application Form to the College
• Submit the duly filled application form to the college before the last date, which will be announced for that academic year.
• Attach all required documents and marksheets as prescribed by the management.
4. Displaying the Provisional Merit List
• All submitted applications will be carefully reviewed.
• Based on merit (marks obtained in SSLC/Class 10 or equivalent), a provisional list of shortlisted students will be prepared.
• The provisional merit list will be displayed on the college notice board, and the tentative date of announcement will be informed at the time of form submission.
• Students must check and verify their names on the list.
5. Document Verification
• After the provisional merit list is displayed, shortlisted students must present their marksheets and other required documents (as prescribed by the college) for verification.
6. Admission Confirmation
• Admission will be confirmed only after payment of the prescribed fees and approval by the PUC Board.
• Students must also submit all necessary documents to the college to finalize admission.
7. Orientation and Commencement of Classes
• Once admissions are completed, the orientation schedule will be announced.
• During the orientation, students will be introduced to the college rules, faculty members, and academic guidelines.
• Regular classes will commence thereafter as per the PUC Board academic calendar.
